I intimately engage the pulse of Columbia as a Richland County Commissioner, where I serve as Vice Chair of the Conservation Commission. I am also a former Vice Chair of Strategic Initiatives for Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), and I currently serve as an active board member of the Cola Rosé Shower, Keep the Midlands Beautiful, and the Richland County Public Education Partners. My passion for bringing people together in my hometown has led to spearheading several initiatives including: 803 Day, FYPColumbia (Find Your Place), Black Eats Week 803, and the SC HBCU 5K Run/Walk.
